いろんな「友達」があります

　今日は、「友情の日」。友達を意味する"friend"の同義語を、いっしょに見ていきましょう。

 

 Since it's "National Friendship Day" today, let's take a look at the synonyms for the word "Friend":

 

  • BFF (Best Friends Forever)　永遠の大親友

Example: I went to the beach with my BFF today.

（今日、大親友とビーチに行った）

 

  • Biffle (Best Friends For Life)　一生の友達

Example: I'm going to hit the mall with my biffle this weekend. 

（この週末は、ベストフレンドとモールに出かける予定）

 

Example: I'm hunging out with my bestie after school.

  • pal　友達

Example: I got an early birthday present from my pal.

（友達から、一足早い誕生日プレゼントをもらった）

 

  • buddy　親友、友達、相棒

Example: My buddy Chris helped me with my homework yesterday.

（昨日、親友のクリスが宿題を手伝ってくれたんだ）

 

  • homie　親友、相棒、同郷の友人

Example: My homie has just come back from New York.

（相棒がニューヨークから帰ってきたところ）

  • dawg　友達、親友

Example: This is my dawg, Nick.

（親友のニックだ）
